History
It all started when Peter G. Nepomuceno President of Angeles Electric Corporation, Engr. Rafael A. Teotico, Executive Vice-President and General Manager of Merex Philippines, Inc. met and discussed their visions to be able to operate and maintain the business of manufacturing Pre-Stressed Octagonal Concrete Poles.
Thus, the meeting of the minds of all parties resulted to a joint venture that led to conceptualization of Durastress Corporation.
Finally, it was on January 15, 1997 when Durastress Corporation was incorporated and registered as a Manufacturing Corporation with SEC. Registration No. A199700314 .
After two years, the plant attained its full capacity in producing approximately 2,000 to 2,500 poles a month. With this accomplishment, the Board of Directors saw the plant has the
capability to fabricate other concrete items. Thus, they started fabricating pre-cast, pre-stressed concrete products that would cater the needs of many construction companies in their
various buildings, bridges and overpasses projects.
At present, the plant is now engaged in the manufacturing and selling of pre-cast concrete products such as square piles, girders, beams, integrated building frames, flat slabs, columns,
panels & etc. On June 9, 2005, we amended our articles of incorporation to include construction in addition to our services.
